Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 19, 2026
This policy explains what information WildnSwole.com (“WildnSwole,” “we,” “us”) collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. If you have a question about it, email support@wildnswole.com.
Information we collect
When you sign up for the Machine Swap Playbook or our emails, we collect your first name and email address. The signup form also records technical details about the submission, such as your IP address, the page you signed up from, and the date and time.
When you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address and any website you enter, plus your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.
When you visit the site, our web host automatically logs standard server information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running.
How we use your information
- To send you the playbook you asked for
- To send occasional emails about home training, equipment reviews and new guides. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To reply to you if you contact us
- To display and moderate comments
- To protect the site against spam and abuse
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their own marketing.
Services we use
We rely on a few third-party services to run the site. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- HighLevel (LeadConnector) hosts our signup form and stores our email list. Emails are delivered through its sending provider, Mailgun. The signup form may set cookies to record your visit and submission.
- Amazon Associates. Some links on this site are Amazon affiliate links. If you click one, Amazon may set cookies on its own site to credit us with a commission on qualifying purchases. We don’t receive your name, address or payment details from Amazon.
- Gravatar (Automattic). If you comment, an anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to Gravatar to check whether you have a profile picture.
- Google Fonts. Some pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address when the fonts are requested.
- Our web host stores the site, its server logs and any comments.
Cookies
WildnSwole doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Cookies may be set by WordPress (for example, to remember your details if you choose that option when commenting), by the signup form, and by Amazon if you click an affiliate link. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
How long we keep your information
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Comments and their metadata are kept as long as the comment stays on the site. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of any email.
- Access, correct or delete your information by emailing support@wildnswole.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to request a copy of your data or object to how it’s used. Email us to exercise any of them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page.
